The short version
- Some cookies are required — without them you cannot log in or keep a cart.
- We use Google Analytics to see which pages are used. Nothing you type in the chat is sent to it.
- There are no advertising or remarketing cookies on this site.
- You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the required ones will simply be set again next time you sign in.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep on your device. Coming back, the browser hands it over again, which is how a site can tell that you are still signed in or that your cart is still yours. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, small scripts — do comparable jobs and are covered by this policy too.
Why this site uses them
traveltextai.net uses cookies for three things and nothing else: keeping you signed in, keeping your token cart working, and understanding in aggregate which pages people use.
The cookies we set
Strictly necessary
These make the site function. They cannot be switched off from within the site, because turning them off means you cannot use your account.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
wordpress_logged_in_*wordpress_sec_* | Keeps you signed in to your account and secures the session | Session, or longer if you choose “remember me” |
wp-settings-* | Remembers interface preferences for signed-in users | Up to 1 year |
woocommerce_cart_hashwoocommerce_items_in_cart | Tracks what is in your token cart | Session |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | Links your cart and checkout to your session | 2 days |
cookieConsent | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again | Up to 1 year |
Analytics
These tell us how the site is used — which pages get read, where people stop, whether a page works on mobile. They are about patterns across visitors, not about identifying you.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Keeps session state for the property | 2 years |
Advertising
None. This site does not run advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking pixels. If that ever changes, this page will be updated before the tags go live.
Analytics, and what is not in it
Google Analytics reports on pages, devices and traffic sources. It does not receive the contents of your travel chat, your itineraries, your token balance or your order details. Google processes this data as a service provider and may store it outside your country; its own terms and privacy information govern that processing.
Your choice
A notice appears on your first visit. Dismissing it records your acknowledgement in the cookieConsent cookie so you are not asked again on that browser. Clearing your cookies clears that record, and the notice comes back.
Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the chat, your balance or checkout. Blocking the strictly necessary ones does — you will not be able to stay signed in.
Browser controls
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block future ones — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Most also offer a private or incognito window that discards cookies when you close it. Browser-level “do not track” and tracking-protection settings work on this site as they do anywhere else.
Be aware that blocking cookies site-wide will sign you out of most websites, not only this one.
A note on the chat
Cookies keep you signed in; they are not how your conversation is stored. Planning history is held against your account, and how that works is set out in the privacy policy — including what to leave out of a message in the first place.
Changes to this policy
New features sometimes bring new cookies. When that happens this page is updated, and the date at the top of it changes with it.
