The short version
- TravelTextAI is a text-based travel-planning companion for itineraries, route and base comparisons, packing lists and backup plans.
- It is a planning tool, not a booking service and not a travel agent. It books nothing, and it holds no reservation on your behalf.
- It will not quote live schedules, fares or opening hours, and it cannot guarantee entry, visas, connections, accessibility or weather. It flags those for you to verify with the official source.
- Chat messages consume tokens. Tokens are prepaid, have no cash value, and are used from the balance on your account.
- AI-generated text can be wrong. Check anything you are about to book or rely on.
1. The agreement
These terms govern your use of traveltextai.net and the TravelTextAI service — the travel chat, your account, and the token store. By creating an account, buying tokens or using the chat, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
Two other documents form part of this agreement: the privacy policy and the refund policy.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using TravelTextAI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
3. Your account
The chat requires an account. You agree to give accurate details, keep them current, and keep your password to yourself. Everything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. Accounts are personal — do not share, sell or transfer one.
4. What the service is
TravelTextAI is a text-based travel-planning companion. Within a conversation it will help you:
- Turn scattered destination ideas into a route with a sensible order
- Compare bases, neighbourhoods and transport options on the tradeoffs you care about
- Draft day-by-day plans with an anchor, optional additions, travel effort and a fallback
- Balance pace, rest and competing interests across a group or family
- Build packing, booking, document, arrival and accessibility checklists
- Plan for disruption — weather, closures, strikes, a day that falls apart
It works by asking focused questions and responding to what you tell it. The quality of the plan depends on the quality of the frame you give it.
5. What it will not do
- It does not book anything. TravelTextAI is not a travel agent, tour operator, carrier or booking platform. It holds no reservations, takes no bookings, and has no relationship with any venue or carrier.
- It does not quote live facts. Schedules, fares, opening hours, reservation requirements and availability change constantly. The chat will not invent them; it will tell you what to check and where.
- It guarantees nothing about travel conditions. Entry and visa outcomes, border decisions, connections, accessibility, health requirements, weather and local advisories are outside anyone's control here, and nothing the chat says is a promise about them.
- It is not professional advice. Nothing in the chat is legal, immigration, insurance, financial or medical advice. Travel-medicine decisions belong with a qualified clinician.
- It is not always right. AI-generated text can contain mistakes and confident-sounding claims that do not hold up. Read every plan before you act on it.
6. Verifying before you travel
The service is designed to mark time-sensitive facts rather than assert them. Acting on a plan without checking those marks is your responsibility, not ours.
Before you book or travel, confirm with the official source:
- Entry, visa and transit rules — with the destination government or the consulate for your nationality and residence
- Schedules, fares and connections — with the carrier or operator
- Opening hours, closures and reservation requirements — with the venue
- Accessibility — with the venue, accommodation or carrier directly, since published information is often out of date
- Health requirements and advisories — with a clinician and your government's travel advice
7. Tokens and payment
- Chat messages consume tokens. Your available balance is shown in your account.
- Tokens are bought in advance, either as a token pack or through the pay-as-you-go option on the pricing page. Prices shown at checkout are the prices that apply.
- If your balance is not enough for a message, the message will not send and you will be shown how to top up.
- Tokens are a prepaid entitlement to use the service. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred or sold to anyone else.
- Payment is taken by our payment provider. Your order is confirmed once payment clears, and the balance is credited to your account.
- Refunds are covered by the refund policy.
- Prices and pack sizes can change. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to plan or assist evasion of border, customs, immigration, security, quarantine, transport or local rules
- Break the law, or use the service to harm, harass, defame or impersonate anyone
- Upload malicious code, or probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the site or its systems
- Try to reach another user's account or any part of the service you were not given access to
- Use bots or automated tools to consume the service, resell access, or provide it onward as your own product
- Reverse engineer the service, or attempt to extract the underlying prompts or models
- Submit other people's personal or confidential information without a proper basis for doing so
The service is designed to decline requests to get around official rules, and to point you at the lawful route instead. Persistently attempting it is a breach of these terms and may end your access.
9. Your content and ours
Yours stays yours. You keep ownership of the trip details, preferences and notes you put into the chat. You grant us the limited permission needed to process them so the service can work — sending them to the model that generates the reply, and storing your history against your account.
The plans are yours to use. Itineraries and checklists the chat produces for you are yours to edit and use, subject to these terms. Similar suggestions may be generated for other people, so nothing produced in a chat is exclusive to you.
Ours stays ours. The site, its design, copy, branding, logo and underlying software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, republish or build a competing product from them without written permission.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the service running and to keep improving it, but we cannot promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. Maintenance, third-party outages and technical faults happen. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn.
11. Liability
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including missed transport, refused entry, cancelled or unavailable bookings, additional travel costs, or any other consequence of a travel decision you make.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for tokens in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing here affects consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
Travel insurance covers the things this service cannot. Getting it is a good idea regardless of how carefully a trip is planned.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your account through the contact page.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is being used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law. Where a closure is our decision and you have not breached these terms, we will deal fairly with any unused balance under the refund policy. Unused tokens are not refunded where an account is closed for a serious breach.
13. Complaints
If something goes wrong, raise it through the contact page with “Complaint” in your message, and include your order reference and what you would like done. We will acknowledge it, look into it properly, and come back to you with an outcome and the reasons for it.
14. Changes to these terms
These terms will be updated as the service changes. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, stop using the service and ask us to close your account.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing a right straight away does not mean giving it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else; we may transfer ours if the service changes hands, and your rights are not reduced by that.
These terms, together with the privacy policy, refund policy and cookies policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
